Developing Countries needs minimum school leaving age (Exsposition Paragraph)

For so many years we are blinded with assumption that a modern country is a country which has so many sky crapes, a country where the governmental functionaries are well dressed, drive a good mercy, and may be doing corruption. Nevertheless, actually what is needed by a country especially a developing country is that a good quality of human recourses which later can build up its country. How can we get a good quality of human recourses? The answer is by having a good education. On the other hand new problem appears as you may know that in a developing country awareness of having a good education is still low. The citizens prefer to have their child working rather than studying in some good school. In this case it is needed active participations from the government to ensure that all children have good education. The government should apply minimum school leaving age in order to give all the children same opportunity to have good education. This policy is really needed by countries in South East Asia which is categorized as developing countries. Below there are some factors why this policy should be applied.

Education is one of the important things in this world besides material things. This issue is also realized by UNESCO which is later on they publish some policies for developing country which is called as Millennium Development Goals or MDGs which should be reached by the end of 2015. This program consists of eight policies and one of those policies is attainment of minimum school leaving age. This policy gives all children have their minimum standard of education, like in Indonesia where the minimum school leaving is 9 years. By passing this minimum years the will graduate from junior high school, but some countries in South East Asia may be using 12 years as the minimum school leaving age. This policy is also used to erase illiteracy, and to create early literacy generations. Then by creating early literacy generation we also create a good quality of human recourses at the same time. Moreover, it means that we have abundant youngster who are able to create the country better than before.

In some way, creating minimum school leaving age also required to reach new education standard. In this modern era a lot of criteria should be owned by each student. High achievement is on absolute think that should be owned. How to create good achievement is by creating a good education system of course. In some countries in South East Asia they move from old policy where the minimum leaving age is only 9 years into 12 years. This policy is published in other to get the youngster ready for globalization and global partnership. In globalization era, emulation is the key. They who are ready for that will win, and then the others who are not ready will lose. In western countries the minimum school leaving age are very vary from 12 until 15 years. Furthermore, in order to compete with the western country we also have to change our minimum school leaving age, and some country in South East Asia have done it. How about Indonesia?

As have been mentioned in the first paragraph that by having a good education we will create a good quality of human recourses. A good quality of human recourses is really needed by ‘job makers’. Because the now that work with a good quality person will make the job easier and faster to do. How we create a good quality of human sources, of course again and again they have to have a good education. Then now how to create a good education, the answer is by creating a good system of education where there is minimum school leaving age.

All in all, having minimum school leaving age is really important for developing country in south east asia. By having this policy we support the MDGs program, new standard of education, and we will also create high quality of human recourses.
